Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will on Monday sit on a dharna demanding the suspension of four police officers for alleged dereliction of duty. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief will protest along with his ministers by sitting on a dharna outside North Block. Manish Sisodia, a minister in Kejriwal's cabinet, said that the Delhi government will fix the police.

On Friday the Delhi CM gave an ultimatum of January 20 to the Delhi Police for taking the necessary action against the cops. The Delhi government on Friday formally appealed to lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung and union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde for an immediate suspension of the four cops for neglecting their duties.

Earlier this week, two AAP ministers had a face off with Delhi police. Somnath Bharti had conducted a midnight raid and taken the police personnels to  task for not taking action against an  alleged sex and drug racket being carried on by foreigners. While Rakhi Birla had directed the police to take a woman's in-laws into custody for allegedly burning her.
