Casino King Chikoti Praveen is in news again. On Sunday his personal security was taken into custody by the task force for holding weapons with an invalid license. They were escorting Praveen Kumar during the Bonalu festival.

Police have included Chikoti Praveen Kumar's name along with his personal security. Praveen Kumar was on the run, while the others were arrested. He released a selfie video after the whole drama saying, that he was targeted for preaching Hindu Dharma. He said that he dedicated himself to fighting on any derogatory remarks made against the religion. This is a clear hint that Chikoti is planning to join BJP or else showering his love to get the party blessings.

On the flip side, arrested security personnel were Sabavath Sunder Naik (Ex-servicemen) from Ranagareddy district, P Rakesh Kumar (retired CRPF ) from Bhupalpally and E Ramesh Goud from Mahboobnagar district. They were taken into custody for holding pistols and live rounds as part of duty, that is to safeguard Praveen during the Bonalu festival at Simha Vahini Lal Darwaza Temple.

Chatrinaka Police has taken case as a suo-moto with the complaint of SI S Srikanth. His guards were booked under IPC 420, 467 (forgery of valuable security), 468 (forgery for purpose cheating),471 (dishonestly using the genuine document) and Section 25(1),(b)(A) and Section 30 of Arms Act.
