Ahead of the elections, Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) appointed an election in charges for the poll-bound states. JP Nadda appointed Prakash Javadekar as a poll in charge for Telangana and Union minister Amit Shah’s close friend Sunil Bansal is appointed as the national general secretary and also co-in-charge of Telangana polls. Bansal was credited for BJP’s win in 2017 and 2019 in Uttar Pradesh and BJP hope big on him.
Prakash Javadekar has recently toured north Telangana districts, Karimnagar and Nizamabad districts as part of 'Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan'. He already inspected the development works and the schemes of Telangana in his recent visit.
BJP has major changes in Telangana ahead of assembly elections. Bandi Sanjay was replaced by Union minister and Secunderabad MP Kishan Reddy as the BJP state president. Huzurabad MLA Etela Rajender was made the party’s election management committee chairperson and former MP Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy is in BJP’s National Executive Committee.
Besides Telangana, BJP has appointed poll in charge for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh as the states are heading for the assembly election. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav is the incharge for Madhya Pradesh and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is the co incharge. For Rajasthan Prahlad Joshi will be the poll in-charge and Nitin Patel and Kuldeep Bishnoi will be co-in-charge.
