Actress Sandra Bullock is eager to play the role of Brownie Wise in a film based on Tupperware. The sales exec. Wise was mainly responsible for the rise of the brand Tupperware.
The untitled period drama will be directed by Tate Taylor, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Taylor has also written the script for the movie based on the non-fiction book by Bob Kealing titled Tupperware Unsealed.
Taylor had met the 49-year-old actress and discussed the project, but nothing has been formalised as of now.
David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville Films/TV will produce the untitled project.
Developed by Earl Silas Tupper, Tupperware was successful only in the 1950's after Wise suggested having Tupperware parties for the popularity of its brand.
According to records, Wise was thrown out of the company in 1958 by Tupper and he tried his best to erase her name from the records books of the company.
