Hollywood is pregnant with box-office divas. From Jennifer Aniston to Jennifer Lawrence and from Gwyneth Paltrow to Sandra Bullock, these top actresses rule the ticket windows any day, anytime, anywhere. Let's find out who among these cream crop of Hollywood actress has trumped her peers to be the reigning box-office queen.

No prizes for guessing. “Gravity” star Sandra Bullock ranks numero uno when it comes to getting the cash registers ringing at the ticket windows. Named Forbes' Highest Earning Actress in Hollywood with a whopping earning of $51 million between June 2013-June 2014, this Academy Award nominee walks away with the cake here. But she isn't alone.

Close at heels is 23-year-old star Jennifer Lawrence, who raked in $34 million in the last one year. She not only earned raves for David O. Russell's “American Hustle”, but also for her reprisal of the roles of Katniss Everdeen and Mystique in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, respectively. The second installment of “The Hunger Games” franchise raked in more than $424 million while the X-Men sequel made $231.7 million.

Jennifer Aniston stands third with $31 million, all thanks to the success of “We're the Millers” and endorsement deals with Aveeno and Vitamin Water. Besides the royalties from “Friends” reruns,as well as her Living Proof hair care line with Chris McMillan ensures her coffers stay overflowing all year round.

Gwyneth Paltrow ranks next with a total earning of$19 million in a span of 12-month, partly because of her supporting role in the blockbuster “Iron Man 3”.She is also the paid spokesperson for Max Factor and Hugo Boss.

Last year's top grosser, Angelina Jolie, ties in the fifth spot this year with Cameron Diaz. The actress, who returns to the big screen after 4 years with the “Maleficent”, took home an impressive $18 million. Diaz, on the other hand, amassed $190 million from “The Other Woman” at the global box office.

No matter how impressive that is, women actresses are still paid lesser than their male counterparts . Forbes' top earning actors collectively earned an astronomical $419 million, while the magazine's top earning actresses combinedly earned a $226 million.
