A smoky scene in 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay in Atlanta' almost chocked Jennifer Lawrence to death. According to reports, a fog machine broke down and began to belch smoke in a tunnel sequence involving Lawrence, reported showbizspy.com.

The hollywood actor disappeared in the dense smoke and was unable to make her way out of the smoke. In the tunnel scene Lawrence leads a mass rebellion through a long tunnel that fills-up with smoke suddenly. The smoking went out of control when one of the machines malfunctioned.

Lawrence and the others began to choke and were not able to find their way out of the smoky haze. Only by the sound of their coughing and gagging could they be located. Apparently, an assistant director gave orders to shut down the smoke machines, run the big fans and to rescue Jennifer out of the smoke-filled tunnel. The actor was located after few minutes and carried out coughing and gagging.
