Seems pop diva Britney Spears has finally found her husband number three.

Buzz is that Britney has got engaged to legal researcher David Lucado. And though we are yet to get any official confirmation on this, the brand new gold band on her ringer is a good enough testimony to the upcoming wedding.

It's been nine months now since the two started dating. Sources reveal that he is just the guy she needs at this point of her life, the baby-sitting type, and she is the perfect find for Lucado — filthy-rich.

The 32-year-old hitmaker openly flaunted her new piece of jewelry (what seemed like an engagement band) while she was attending the soccer game of her two sons Sean, eight, and seven-year-old Jayden on January 25. That sent the gossipmill into an overdrive, sparking rumors that David might have finally popped the question.

The Ooh la la hitmaker was introduced to David Lucado by mutual friends at a party early last year and was instantly attracted to him.

Britney Spears was previously married to her sons' father Kevin Federline for three years until March 2007.She was also briefly married to her childhood friend, Jason Alexander, for 55 hours  way back in 2004.

Britney is doing a residency in Vegas right now so it would be easy for her and David to slip on over to a chapel and get married like she always did, in hush-hush!
