Heat a kadai and mix the powdered jaggery with the coconut, stirring the mixture over low flame.

Cook this mixture until the jaggery has melted and thickened. The consistency by now should be dry. Keep aside this for filling.

In a pan, take some water and add some oil and salt to it. Once the water is hot, add the semolina and stir until it's incorporated in water. Keep stirring for another 5-6 minutes. Ensure that the semolina is properly cooked.

Remove the mixture from heat and allow to cool. Once cold, knead the mixture into a soft dough

Take lemon sized ball from the dough, flatten in with your hand and place a spoonful of coconut filling inside it. Pinch the edges and bring the fluted edges in the center. Join and pinch off the top.
