3 Idiots is one of the best films of Aamir Khan. After a decade, the sequel for 3 Idiots is on and Aamir Khan himself revealed the news during an interview. He called the script unusual and he is eagerly waiting to start the shoot of the film. He also said that Rajkumar Hirani is currently working on the final draft and more details are expected to be out soon. "I heard the story and it is wonderful. It has a lot of humour and it is unusual. The sequel will be made ten years after the release of 3 Idiots" told Aamir Khan.

The top actor also announced the biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke with Rajkumar Hirani but it is put on hold. He said that Rajkumar Hirani has completed three drafts of the biopic and he is not completely convinced. He then started working on the sequel for 3 Idiots. Aamir Khan hasn't signed any new films as an actor. He was seen in Sitaare Zameen Par. He produced Ek Din with his son Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi playing the lead roles. The film releases on May 1st in theatres.
