Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has provided a unique look at the massive scale and high energy of action scenes in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Posting on X, he wrote a note for his action crew, outlining the wild ideas, tireless efforts, and strong commitment that helped realize his ambitious goals. Aditya Dhar openly shared the crazy and often outlandish ideas he suggested. He noted, "To my action team on Dhurandhar - Aejaz Gulab, Sea Young Oh, Yannick Ben, Ramazan Bulut, and Vishal Tyagi. There’s a fine line between belief and insanity, and during this film, I crossed it nearly every day." He continued, "I would approach Aejaz bhai with concepts that I knew sounded absurd as soon as I voiced them, like a person being cooked inside an industrial pressure cooker, someone dragged through busy streets behind a bike with a noose around their neck, or thirty men hanging upside down from fans spinning at the push of a button. These weren't just ideas; they were challenges I would casually present to him. And every time, the reply was the same, no hesitation, no judgment, just, 'Okay, let’s figure it out.' That attitude is what characterizes all of you."

The director also shared the incredible number of people needed to create these action scenes. He recounted, "I still remember a moment during filming when I told Aejaz bhai, 'We're running low on stuntmen; I'm seeing the same people again. ' He just looked at me and casually said, 'There’s no one left; we’ve used almost everyone in Mumbai. ' More than 400 stunt performers. Even now, that number seems unbelievable. But that’s what it needed. What stood out to me even more than the size was the accuracy and ownership that each of you displayed. " Aditya Dhar then recognized the specific contributions of his action crew. He stated, "Mr. Sea Young Oh and his fantastic team didn’t only create action; they choreographed the amazing finales of both parts and crafted the intensity of the Jaskirat massacre in a way that you can really feel. Yannick and Ramazan brought structured chaos to life, from the frenzy of the Arshad Pappu gang conflict to Babu Dakait’s destruction; each shot was intense but never random. And Vishal (Baba SFX), the quiet support behind so much of what we accomplished. The way you dismantled an explosion, considering its size, timing, and height, and made something so risky feel so exact gave us all the courage to push further".

And throughout all of this was Aejaz bhai, with backing from Abbas Ali Moghul and their full team, keeping everything organized and always striving for improvement. What others might not notice is the effort that went into making this happen. Mock stages set up on studio floors. Many days of practice. Then adjusting, followed by more practice. We faced tight deadlines and tough situations, but the one aspect we never compromised on was safety and preparation," he remarked. The director finished by saying, "That is the main reason we achieved what we did. At some point, this became more than just a job for me. I discovered true friendships here. Action has always felt the most natural to me in filmmaking. It is where I feel comfortable. And with all of you, I never had to struggle to be understood, you simply got it and took it to the next level. You didn’t just carry out what was written, you improved it, questioned it, and made it better. Dhurandhar exists the way it does thanks to you. Immense respect. Forever thankful. "

Dhurandhar 2 has become the highest-earning Indian movie without any support from Gulf nations and China. Released in December 2025, Dhurandhar emerged as the most successful film of the year and the top-grossing film in a single language. The new film exceeded the total earnings of its previous installment in just 11 days. In addition to Ranveer Singh, the cast features R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and many others in significant roles.
