Rahul Gandhi gets a Grand Welcome from Farmers in Uttar Pradesh

Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi is busy with Bharat Jodo Yatra and his padayatra reached Uttar Pradesh yesterday. He received a warm welcome from his sister Priyanka Gandhi. He reached Mavikala village last night and he resumed the tour from Baghpat district early this morning. Farmers from the nearby villages and towns came in large numbers to great Rahul Gandhi and support his Bharat Jodo Yatra. A number of tractors are brought and they are filled with flowers. A total of four quintals of flowers are brought by the farmers and Rahul Gandhi received a grand welcome.

Yunus Chowdhary, the Chief of Congress Baghpat district said that the tour will enter Baraut town this evening. A grand welcome is arranged and Rahul Gandhi is expected to leave to Shamli district by the end of today. Rahul Gandhi is expected to enter Haryana tomorrow evening. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati and Rashtriya Lok Dal President Jayant Chaudhary have stood away from Rahul Gandhi's march in Uttar Pradesh. Most of them congratulated Rahul Gandhi for his yatra. Champat Rai, the secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust expressed his gratitude for the young man Rahul Gandhi who is walking across the nation. Rahul Gandhi started Bharat Jodo Yatra on September 7th from Kanyakumari and it is expected to end on January 30th in Srinagar.
