The Omicron scare reached India and the cases are now traced in all the states of the country. The new cases too increased and more than 1 lakh new cases are reported per day. The Union Health Ministry issued new guidelines for the international travelers coming to India. All the international travelers will have to stay in quarantine for a week after reaching the country. All these travelers will have to take up coronavirus test on the eighth day. All the news guidelines will be implemented from January 11th across the country. A list of nations are named in the list of 'At Risk Countries'. They are European countries, South Africa, Brazil, Botswana, China, Ghana, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Hong Kong, Israel, Congo, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Nigeria and Zambia.

All the international travelers will have to fill the self-declaration form in the portal of Air Suvidha. All the international fliers should carry a negative RT-PCR report that is taken 72 hours before the flight travel. The entire information should be produced in the Air Suvidha form. The travelers coming from At Risk Countries will have to take up Covid-19 test after their arrival to India. They should also book a slot for the test on the Air Suvidha portal. Though the test is negative, the travelers will have to spend in quarantine for seven days. A chartered flight from Italy landed in Punjab and all the 125 travelers are tested positive for coronavirus.
