Vijay Mallya tweets congratulating Indian Govt on the COVID-19 fund relief. While he expresses his view on relief funds, he says that the banks ignored his repeated loan repay offers.
Congratulations to the Government for a Covid 19 relief package. They can print as much currency as they want BUT should a small contributor like me who offers 100% payback of State owned Bank loans be constantly ignored ? Please take my money unconditionally and close.

Vijay Mallya made another request for the government to accept his 100% payback of loans. The tweet also included the request of closing the case against him after acceptance of loans payback.
"Congratulations to the Government for a Covid-19 relief package. They can print as much currency as they want BUT should a small contributor like me who offers 100 percent payback of State-owned Bank loans be constantly ignored?" he said in a tweet.
The estimated amount of Mallya’s loan payback is Rs. 9000 crore. He wants the government to take his money unconditionally and wind it up.
A month ago, Mallya made an appeal in the London High Court against an extradition order to India but he lost it on April 20th. Again earlier this month, he again filed an appeal in the UK Supreme Court against India’s decision. And a spokesperson said “The leave to appeal has been filed. We have until May 14 to respond”.
This is not the first time Vijay Mallya has requested banks to accept his payback offer. Previously, he offered the 100% loan payback that was borrowed by Kingfisher Airlines and said that banks are refusing the offer.
