Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu strongly emphasized on the security and cleanliness in railways during his maiden railway budget, but the security level came down in real. Not only the common man, VIP passengers were looted by the robbers this morning in Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Express.

According to the media reports, Madhya Pradesh finance minister Jayant Malaiya, and his wife Dr Sudha Malaiya are the victims among many in the Jabalpur-

Nizamuddin Express, which was robbed in its way to Delhi. Surprisingly, the RPF personnel played spectators role because of insufficient ammunition.

In the early morning at around 4 am, when the train was passing through Mathura, the robbers have entered the compartment and forcibly taken the valuable goods. According to the statement by Mrs Malaiya, ten armed men committed the robbery. After looting their compartment, they have gone to other passengers.

After reaching Delhi, the Madhya Pradesh minister went straight to Parliament to meet railway minister Suresh Prabhu. The same issue was raised by Prahlad Patel, an MP from Damoh.

The railway officials have suspended 3 RPF personnel and ordered a probe for clear report on the incident.
