There is possibility of governor rule in J&k, Governor N N Vohra has recommended for governors rule in the state and this may made before January 19 when the term of the current Assembly expires failing which Governor’s rule looks inevitable.
The Governor N. N. Vohra has sent report after caretaker ChIef MinIster Omar Abdulla met him on Thursday and told him that he does not want to continue as a caretaker CM, and he appealed in wake of tensions at border and relief work for flood affected state needs full time government.
While asking for full time government, Omer wrote “Given the situation on the border with 10,000 displaced, the hardships of winter & the continuing need for relief for flood affected. I believe the interests of the state will only be served by a full time administrator & not a caretaker with no mandate to govern.”
This impasse will be cleared soon a senior Bjp leader said, “everything will be clear after January 14,” which is considered as the beginning of an auspicious phase.
Akhar said that PDP will continue to make efforts. “We are accountable to our conscience and to the people of the state.”
