Jharkand and Jammu&kashmir states are under the 3rd phase of state general elections 2014.

Terror attacks in Uri, Sopore and Tral in which 12 security personal and one civilian were killed,created tension over today's election. All the major parties of J&K are seriously campaigning for best results and not to give a chance to BJP. BJP is hoping for single party ruling with it's 50+ mission in the icy state, CM Omar Abdulla's constituency comes in Budwan district which is also having election today. In jharkhand also 3rd phase elections for 17 seats of 81 membered legislature, just escaped damage from Naxal groups. Today an encounter that took place just an hour before polling began at Dhanwar from where former Chief Minister and JVM (Prajatantrik) president Babulal Marandi is contesting,created The gun fight which started around 6 am lasted for 15 minutes. No loss of lives from both sides but 4 naxals injured in firing process. BJP is repeatedly wooing voters for stable government.

Fourth phase of elections will take place on 14th and counting shall be on 23rd of this month only.
