Lumio updated its smart TV collection in India by introducing the Lumio Vision 9 (2026) and Lumio Vision 7 (2026) on Thursday. These new smart TVs from the Indian brand aim to enhance their performance, display, and how users find content. Similar to the 2025 model, the Vision 9 (2026) is set as a top-of-the-line smart TV with high-end features. In contrast, the updated Vision 7 (2026) model focuses on the mid-range market, offering better storage and connectivity options. Both models will be available through major online retailers in India. The Lumio Vision 9 (2026) is priced at Rs. 72,999 for the 65-inch version, with a promotional price (after bank discounts and coupons) of Rs. 64,999. The 55-inch model will launch in May, and the 65-inch variant goes on sale starting April 24 on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. On the other hand, the Lumio Vision 7 (2026) will come in 43-inch and 55-inch sizes, priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 39,999, respectively. These models will also be available from April 24 on the same online sites, with special bank offers on the sale day.
The higher-end Lumio Vision 9 (2026) models use MediaTek's Pentonic 700 processor, along with 3GB of DDR4 RAM and improved storage speed. The company states that these models provide up to double the performance compared to other TVs, leading to smoother app transitions and no lag. The TV features a QD MiniLED screen with an EVA panel, offering up to 800 nits of peak brightness, support for Dolby Vision, and a wide color range. According to the brand, it can display native 4K at 144Hz and up to 240Hz at 1080p, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for gaming. For sound, the Lumio Vision 9 (2026) is equipped with a 50W DGS 2.2 audio system featuring six drivers, dual subwoofers, and Dolby Atmos compatibility. This smart TV operates on Android 14 and debuts TLDR 2.0, Lumio's content discovery system with AI features like trending topics, personalized suggestions, and sophisticated search options. The brand also introduced Project Neo, allowing users to manage the TV through messaging apps like WhatsApp and Instagram by sending content links or text queries. Project Neo will be available on all Lumio devices later this year.
Meanwhile, the Lumio Vision 7 (2026) has been enhanced with up to 64GB of storage, which is four times more than the older version, and the company claims that the internal storage is now twice as fast. It also includes a satellite port to access free TV channels through DD Free Dish, providing up to 540 channels. The company indicates that both the Vision 9 (2026) and Vision 7 (2026) models come with a two-year warranty.
