OnePlus Pad 4 is set to be launched in India at the month's end, according to the announcement made by the company on Thursday. In addition, the smartphone manufacturer has stated that the new tablet will be available in the country through two online shopping sites and the company's own website. As part of this announcement, important details about the specifications, features, and design of the OnePlus Pad 4 have been shared. This comes shortly after the company started hinting at the introduction of a new device in the OnePlus Pad series. Initially, it was thought that the tablet would be revealed in India as the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro. In a press release, the tech company stated that the OnePlus Pad 4 will debut in India on April 30 at 12 pm IST. Furthermore, dedicated pages for the tablet can now be found on Flipkart, Amazon, and the OnePlus India online store, confirming that it will be sold on these websites. The company has confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 4 will use Qualcomm's top-tier octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is also used in the high-end OnePlus 15. The company asserts that the OnePlus Pad 4 has achieved a score of 41,86,268 points on the AnTuTu benchmark testing platform. It is also said to provide a 20 percent boost in CPU performance, a 35 percent increase in CPU efficiency, a 23 percent rise in GPU performance, and a 20 percent enhancement in GPU energy efficiency.
OnePlus has additionally confirmed that the tablet will come with a 13.2-inch 3.4K (3,392x2,400 pixels) 12-bit True Color Display, offering a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, a touch sampling rate as high as 540Hz, a 98 percent DCI-P3 color range, a pixel density of 315 ppi, and support for Dolby Vision. The OnePlus Pad 4 will also feature a pill-shaped rear camera module that includes a camera and an LED flash. There are three pogo pins visible on the back panel. The upcoming OnePlus Pad series device will be powered by a 13,380mAh battery. The company claims that the OnePlus Pad 4 will provide around 54 days of standby time, 20 hours of video playback, or seven hours of gaming on a full charge. The tablet will also be compatible with the OnePlus Stylo Pro stylus. Additionally, the tech company will equip the forthcoming OnePlus Pad 4 with an eight-speaker setup, which will include four bass speakers and four tweeters.
