The Supreme Court of India proposed three interim orders today, leaving BCCI, CSK, RR and Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a lurch.
The apex court stated that Sunil Gavaskar should assume the role of interim cricket board president as long as investigations against N Srinivas' is on.
Next, it issued an order to drop Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings from IPL 7.
Lastly, it ordered that All India Cements employees should quit their posts in BCCI, including staff, auditors, Chief Financial Officer and computer operators. SC said: "Purge" the BCCI of everyone who belongs to India Cements.
It also observed that Dhoni was compelled by Srinivasan to lie about his son in law and owner of CSK, Gurunath Meiyappan. Harish Salve, counsel of the petitioner, said India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was guilty of corrupt conduct as he gave false statement to the Commission. Salve draw attention to Dhoni deposition before the Mudgal Commission where he said that Gurunath Meiyappan was not the team principal/owner... but just an enthusiast.
Salve also said that: "Dhoni is an employee of India Cements and that leads to a conflict of interest."
The BCCI will respond to the Supreme Court's proposal tomorrow.
