A sound sleep is necessary for an energetic morning. It is believed that during the sleep, not only our mind is relaxed, but our body also functions properly. One needs to have proper sleep of around eight to nine hours for better start. But the present lifestyle has limited the bed timing to 5-4 hours, sometimes less than that which is not good for health. An incomplete sleep leads to tiredness and morning blues.
Better mood, concentration, health and look, balanced body weight and longevity are some of the outcome of sound sleep. So below mentioned are few things you must avoid which keeps you awake in night.
You should not be engaged with electronic devices like laptops or cell phones. People surfing the internet or engaged in phone sleep very late which disturbs their mind. A phone ringing in middle of the night can also interrupt a sound sleep. These electronics devices are kind of distraction which keeps you awake late night. Disconnecting them, before going to bed gives an opportunity for your mind to be relaxed.
Watching late night shows, while munching food is also a bad habit. The body needs to get some rest, but if you keep it engaged like this for late hours, your body may wear out before time.
Avoiding office work, which keeps most of the people engaged for late hours, is also a bad practice. It is always better to finish before dinner or in office, so that you get some to relax before sleeping
