Healthy living doesn't take much effort. You just need to take care of minor health related issues to a healthy life. Read on to know how you can make minor changes in your lifestyle to improve your health.

Juice for lunch

Enrich your lunch with a glass of fresh orange juice, it will help to absorb iron. Tea or coffee will inhibit absorbtion. So you know what to do the next time you sit down with your lunch.

Enjoy pizza like before

Enjoy your favorite pizza by all means. But while ordering, ask for half the cheese and to double the tomato sauce. Your pizza treat is intact, only it has become healthier by cutting down your intake of saturated fat. Besides you get the benefit of antioxidants from tomatoes, which is known to inhibit tumour growth.

Make your meal plans for entire week

Plan ahead about the meals for the entire week This helps you to keep track of your health while preventing wastage of food and money. If you love snacking, stock up on healthy snacks like seeds, unsalted nuts or dried fruit. That way you can prevent yourself from eating unhealthy snacks.

Keep tab of what you eat

List out the things you eat each day. When you keep a record of what you eat, it becomes easier to follow a weight loss plan.

Wash your dishcloth regularly

Disinfect your dishcloth by boiling it in a saucepan with water and some washing powder. Health research has revealed that 80 % of dishcloths are contaminated with harmful bacteria, which includes E.Coli.

Take the pillow test

Old pillows are unsupportive to your body and increases the probability of fatigue and aches. Take the pillow test to find out whether it's still sleepworthy. For this take your pillow and fold it into half. Then place a book over the folded pillow. If the pillow throws back the book then it's still usable.

Clear your handbag

You should not be carrying over 1.3 kg weight as anything more than that puts pressure on your back. So clear your bag and remove receipts, old make-up and loose change. Make use of an antibacterial wipe to clean the bottom of your bag. A recent study revealed that 30 % of bags were contaminated with E. Coli. So the next time you are at a public washroom, remember where not to place your bag.
