On Wednesday, in an encounter, security forces killed two unidentified terrorists who were a part of the Pulwama attack, police said.

They added that a civilian survived injuries in the gunfight. Eearly morning, in the Tiken area in Pulwama, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation after receiving information about the presence of terrorists there.

According to the police official, only after the firing started against the security officers, this search operation turned into an encounter.

Further, the police official added that the identity and group affiliation of the murdered terrorists has been found out.

During the first-two cordon and search operations launched in North Kashmir, they were unsuccessful in receiving contact.

Since last night, this is the third operation launched by the forces in Kashmir.
