Central Bureau of Investigation transfers Officer who is investigating the ICICI-Videocon Loan case.
This development happened after CBI filed FIR against former ICICI Bank chief Chanda Kochhar, her husband Deepak Kochhar, Videocon head Venugopal Dhoot and others in a case linked to alleged irregularities in loan.
The CBI also named Nupower Renewables Ltd , Supreme Energy Pvt Ltd , Videocon International Electronics Ltd and Videocon Industries Ltd
The Investigation agency transferred Sudhanshu Mishra, a Superintendent of Police who was part of the Banking and Securities Fraud Cell (BSFC) to the agency’s Economic Offences Wing In Ranchi.
Central Bureau of Investigation has justified his decision of transfering the officer said that the preliminary inquiry was pending without any reasons.
According to reports that there might be some possibility of Information regarding search operations are leaked.
Officials at the agency have carried out a discreet inquiry and role of Sudhanshu Mishra was strongly suspected. So, they have transferred him.
