India's obsession with Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be crossing all limits, so much that even the newborns are being christened after the man.
Two recently born twins in Indore in Madhya Pradesh were named as “Narendra” and “Modi” by their parents.
Apparently, the couple were in so much awe of the BJP leader and PM-elect that the decided to name their boys, born on May 16, after the PM.
"I and my civil engineer husband are hugely impressed by the personality of our future prime minister Narendra Modi and have decided to name our sons as 'Narendra' and 'Modi'," said Aarti Kumawat.
If that wasn't odd enough, the couple feel that the birth of their twin sons on May 16 and the BJP's landslide victory a day after has some "divine" link.
"We feel that with their unique names, our sons will get motivation to proceed ahead in their life," said their beaming father Kumawat.
