For all you Spider-Man fans, here is a piece of news that will gladden your hearts. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will hit the Indian a day ahead of its US release.
Directed by Marc Webb, the superhero sequel will release on Thursday, 1 May in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
"The release date will take advantage of the fact that most states have a public holiday on May 1. As it is, `The Amazing Spider-Man 2` releases during the opportune school and college vacation period which is ideal for our audience," reportedly.
Columbia Pictures' most successful franchise yet, the four Spider-Man films have altogether amassed a mini fortune of USD 3.2 billion worldwide.
Andrew Garfield will be once again seen in the role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and his real-life girlfriend Emma Stone will reprise his onscreen lover of Gwen.
This time, the Spider-Man will put up a bigger encounters against his formidable foe Electro (Jamie Foxx).
