The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards ended with a bang with happy winners walking away with a Moonman. Miley Cyrus clinched the top award for her Terry Richardson-helmed "Wrecking Ball" clip.

Besides Miley, other winners of the event were Lorde, who picked the trophy for Best Rock Video for "Royals"; Katy Perry won the Best Female Video award for "Dark Horse; Drake bagged Best Hip-Hop Video for his "Hold On, We're Going Home" mini-movie; and Ariana Grande, earned a Moonman for her Best Pop Video for her "Problem" short.
