Christina Aguilera and fiance, Matthew Rutler, welcomed their new bundle of joy - a cute little baby girl into the world on Saturday.

This is Aguilera's second child. She is already a mother of 6-year-old son, Max Bratman, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

Christina and Rutler are "thrilled and excited" to have their first child together.

The singer has been often spotted flaunting her bump in Los Angeles. Shutterbugs also captured a cute pic of her little boy protectively shielding her baby bump while walking through paparazzi.

"Max already protecting mommy & his little sister! He's the greatest #maxthegreat," Aguilera captioned the photo, that had the text "big brother love" on it, on Twitter.

Chris and Rutler celebrated their daughter's arrival recently with a co-ed baby shower held at her stylist's home. Nearly 50 family members and close friends were a part of the intimate gathering. But the star of the event was the interesting, humorously highlighted cake that was decked with a figurine of a woman giving birth on a rug atop a hardwood floor, the baby's head (complete with a full head of hair) poking out from you-know-where.

"Push Xtina, push," the writing on the cake said.

Post birth, Christina is doing great," a source confirmed. "She's really glowing. She's feeling great and isn't tired at all. She can't wait to meet her baby girl."
