A brand new pic of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is here. And from the first look of it, Ben Affleck appears all chinned up as the Caped Crusader. And for all you who doubted if Batfleck could do justice to the role, let me tell you that the furrowed brow and clenched jaw underneath the cowl is unmistakably Batman-ish.

DC Comics released the pic yesterday in honor of the film and the 75th anniversary of Batman, celebrated as Batman Day.

"#75," director Zack Snyder captioned the shot on Twitter.

A full-body shot of Ben as Batman has also been released, but it's the close-up pic of the brooding Batfleck that captures the mood for what is sure to be, going by 'Man of Steel', a super-serious portrayal of Bruce Wayne and his superhero alter ego.

The flick also stars Henry Cavill as the Superman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

Joining the ensemble is Jeremy Irons as Batman-story staple Alfred, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonderwoman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
