Delhi's Minister and AAP MLA, Saurabh Bharadwaj, expressed his belief that there is a possibility of Delhi's Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, being arrested in the coming days if the AAP continues its alliance with the Congress party. Bharadwaj made these remarks during a press conference in the capital. He also assured that the AAP-Congress alliance would remain unaffected even if Kejriwal is arrested. Bharadwaj questioned the urgency displayed by the Central Government, stating that even members of the BJP have suggested that Kejriwal would be imprisoned if the alliance with Congress is formed. He added that the only way to prevent this is for Kejriwal to not be a part of the alliance.

Furthermore, Bharadwaj emphasized that the BJP is feeling anxious as they believe that an AAP-Congress alliance would make it difficult for them to form a government in any state where an alliance is formed. AAP MLA, Atishi Marlena, mentioned that Kejriwal has received seven notices from the ED, but they have been unsuccessful in arresting him through this agency. Therefore, they are now preparing to arrest him through the CBI, and they claim to have obtained reliable information regarding this matter. We have been informed that we will not be forming an alliance. However, we are not intimidated by your threats, as we have arrived with unwavering determination." AAP MP Sandeep Pathak expressed, "The announcement of our alliance will be made simultaneously, and we are currently in the final stages of the process."

Merely a day prior, Atishi Marlena echoed these statements during a press briefing. In addition, Atishi claimed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is expected to issue a notice to Kejriwal over the weekend. According to reliable sources, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the grand old party have reached an agreement regarding the number of seats to be contested in Delhi, Gujarat, Assam, and Haryana. Following numerous rounds of discussions between the leaders of both parties, a mutually acceptable arrangement has been reached. AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal mentioned on Wednesday that the negotiations regarding the alliance had been delayed, but he hinted at imminent developments within the next couple of days. According to the agreement, AAP will vie for four seats, while Congress will compete for three seats in Delhi. The Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, partners within the I.N.D.I.A bloc, have reached an agreement on the allocation of seats in Uttar Pradesh for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled for April-May this year.
