After the partition of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Telangana turned out to be the most developed and has strong finance on its account by having the most developed Hyderabad in its part. But now after many welfare schemes or because of any sort of issues, the Telangana government is also facing financial problems like wise Andhra Pradesh.

Employee salaries of Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts were on time. But other districts of Telangana are yet waiting for their salaries and pressuring the local departments for the release of their salaries. Not only this, even the central government program Rythu Bandhu funds is yet to be released.

Rythu Bandhu is a welfare scheme where farmers below 5 acres of land will be given a certain amount of funds by the central and state governments as financial aid. For this Kharif season, the Telangana government should release Rs 7720.50 cr for 70lakh farmers and released only Rs 4,377.4Cr till June 30th. Nearly Rs 3243 Cr funds release is in pending. So far 50 lakh farmers are benefitted from the scheme for this season and more than 13 lakh farmers are yet to get their amount of 5,000/- to their accounts. The financial crunch is Telangana is now worrying the government as the elections are also heading nearby.
