United States President Donald Trump and Tesla's CEO Elon Musk are anticipated to have a private conversation after a public disagreement that has transformed their previously strong partnership into a clear dispute. A representative from the White House has verified the discussion which was set up at the request of Donald Trump’s advisors, who have been attempting to ease the strain between the two, according to the New York Post. This upcoming call follows Donald Trump’s efforts to minimize the negative impact by stating to Politico, “Oh, it’s fine. Things are going excellently—never better.” The President even mentioned his popularity, claiming, “The figures are exceptional, the highest ratings I've ever received, and I need to attend.”

Donald Trump openly criticized Elon Musk during a press conference at the White House, which intensified a feud that has escalated swiftly in the past few days. His comments were made while endorsing a new piece of legislation that could greatly affect manufacturers of electric vehicles, including Tesla. “Elon and I had a wonderful connection. I am uncertain if that will continue,” Donald Trump remarked, adding, “He hasn’t spoken ill of me personally, but I suspect that may change.” Elon Musk, who has increasingly expressed his opposition to Donald Trump’s political initiatives, responded sharply on social media by posting on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Without my support, Trump would have lost the election, the Democrats would hold the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate… Such lack of gratitude.” Musk also reminded Trump and his supporters of the financial and public assistance he provided during the previous electoral campaign.

He subsequently expressed his belief that Donald Trump should face impeachment and be succeeded by Vice President JD Vance. The Tesla chief claimed that Donald Trump is mentioned in the sealed Epstein documents, implying that’s the reason they have not been revealed. He stated, “It’s time to reveal the really significant detail: Donald Trump is in the Epstein documents. That is the true reason for their non-disclosure. Have a pleasant day, DJT!” Elon Musk concluded the post with, “Make a note of this post for the future. The truth will eventually surface.”
