The pandemic is still creating panic in the country. Almost everyone in the country got infected with coronavirus once or twice and a few even thrice, yet COVID-19 is getting mutated and infecting people by changing its mutation. The latest case raise is a new worrying in common public again. The world can't see one more lockdown.

India has recorded 54 fresh COVID-19 infections. According to Union Health Ministry on Saturday, 1408 cases are active in the country. By the updated data 5,31,914 deaths were registered and 4.49 Cr infections were registered. The COVID-19 recovery rate in India is 98.81 per cent according to the health ministry.

To date, 220.66 Cr vaccine doses have been taken in the country under the COVID-19 vaccination drive. Even in May, there was a death in every 4 minutes for coronavirus, even more than cancer deaths. World health organisations took more time to declare COVID-19 as a pandemic, which led to the lockdown and guidelines. But now people facing phases of COVID-19 lockdown, are more cautious about and following social distancing. This is the only relief.
