Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday in Bhopal after flagging off five Vande Bharat trains talked about ‘Triple Talak’. He asked why Islam countries like Pakistan, Indonesia and Bangladesh do not have ‘Triple Talak. PM Modi talks about Uniform Civil Code (UCC), He questioned the public on how a country can run with two laws and reminded SC request for the implementation of UCC. “I feel those who support ‘Triple Talak’ are doing vote bank politics and are doing justice to Muslim daughters," said Modi.

Narendra Modi asked to think about Muslim daughters who marry and return to their parents' homes 10 years after their marriage and how their families will be utterly damaged. He recollects his Egypt trip and said 90 per cent of the people in Egypt belong to the Sunni community and stay far away from triple talaq from 80-90 years ago. Majority of the Muslim countries have banned it and asked Muslims to rethink which political party is misleading them.

Narendra Modi talks about Pasmanda Muslims and how they are being discriminated in their community. Only because of the vote bank politics our country is functioning with different sets of rules, while even the apex court follows, the common civil code said Narendra Modi.
