Free Travel for Women in Karnataka says Rahul Gandhi

As a major poll promise Congress leader Rahul Gandhi promises big for the public in a public meeting in Mangalore on Thursday. Once the Congress party comes into power in Karnataka, women in the state will be provided free travel in bus services. Rahul gives his fifth election promise to the voters of Karnataka.

This is the fifth guarantee scheme from the Congress party. The first promise is cash assistance of Rs 2000/- under the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme to every woman, the second is 200 units of free electricity under Gruha Jyothi Scheme, the third promise is 10Kg rice free of cost to every BPL card family and the fourth promise is Rs 3000/- to unemployed graduates and Rs 1500/- to unemployed diploma graduates.

Rahul Gandhi says that while BJP is looting the state and stealing the hard-earned money, Congress is going to distribute money to women and the unemployed. Rahul Gandhi reminds the public about the cost of Petrol and Diesel in the state and how small businesses are ruined in the state in the name of GST.

Karnataka is going to have assembly elections on the 10th of May. This southern state is going to show the pulse of voters, for which both the national party leaders took the assembly elections too hard. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land on May 2nd to address the huge gathering in Karnataka as part of the campaign. Star campaigners Smrithi Irani, Nirmala Sitaraman, Amit Shah, Yogi Aditynath, and Nitin Gadkari are already in the state.
