Banning Chinese apps is the first step towards breaking the shackles of China’s internet nationalism and to realize India’s power in the digital world.
The central government on Wednesday announced the ban of 118 apps including PUBG mobile in view that the data available on these platforms about the users needs to be protected and the Chinese activities on these platforms are prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India and the security of the State.
The ministry in its statement said that the decision is targeted to ensure safety, security, and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.
The move is assured to safeguard the interests of crores of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a deliberate move by the Indian government for the second time after the country banned 59 Chinese apps in June.
But, this situation can be seen from an entirely other dimension. India is the third populous country after China and the USA, so imagine the possibilities of innovation by the young minds of India. This decision of banning Chinese apps can transform India into a global superpower. Here’s how.
