Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is one among the few countries which are capable to build everything starting from an aircraft to aircraft carrier, at the launch of Defence Research and Development Organization in Bengaluru.
“India is among very few countries that has the capability to build everything from aircraft to aircraft carrier. I am satisfied that work was done sincerely on the suggestion of setting up 5 labs in the field of advanced Technologies and today five such institutes are coming up in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai,” said Modi at the DRDO.
He added saying that the government is ready to provide the support to the scientists and innovators of the country at each and every step.

Narendra Modi said that investing in the future techniques and innovations is important as India cannot lag behind in the future where cyber and space will define world’s strategic dynamics and intelligent machines will play a key role in the defence sector.
The DYSLs, DRDO Young Scientist Laboratories are located in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata where in each lab works for developing the futuristic defence systems. The young scientists, below the age of 35 years have been given the opportunity to work in the identifies research areas, says DRDO.
