Porn addiction can be serious and it can now and then even lead to the extreme of sending their partners to jail.
A man in Michigan has been so much addicted to porn that he is seeking $86,000 in damages from his parents who destroyed his porn stock.
According to Wilx, a local CNN affiliate, the Michigan resident had moved back with his parents in 2016 following a divorce. He moved out just 10 months later and began living in Indiana. But all hell broke out in December 2017, after his parents sent his belongings to his new place. To his utter shock, the man discovered that his collection of porn films were missing.
When confronted, his father allegedly admitted that they destroyed 12 moving boxes full of pornography.
The man was however not ready to accept this and filed a police complaint against his parents claiming that his collection was worth about $29,000.
After the prosecutor's office turned down to press charges, he began reaching out to his dad through e-mail and stated that if they had a problem with his belongings, they should have told him before he moved in and should not have destroyed his collection.
His father, however, claimed that what they did was for his own good and hoped that one day he will understand.
But unfortunately, he hasn't accepted it up to now and has once again filed a lawsuit against his parents, seeking $86,000 in damages asserting that videos in his lost collection were valuable and are now out-of-print.
Internet pornography is an amazingly huge industry. There are currently over 24.5 million different pornographic websites on the Internet. That represents 12% of all Internet websites. At any given second in time, almost 30,000 people are looking at porn.
