
Indian Community in Singapore came out in large numbers to pay homage to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawans Killed in recent terror attack in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir.
In the memory of CRPF soldiers Indian Diaspora held a candle light vigil on february 22.
Officials from Singapore’s foreign ministry were also present at the vigil march. It was held at Indian High Commission’s Grange Road Complex.
India's High Commissioner to Singapore, Jawed Ashraf, said “This spontaneous outpouring of grief and support for the killed paramilitary personnel reflected a deep sense of anguish in the Indian diaspora globally.”

UN Security Council condemned the terror attack in strongest terms. It also named terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed which has taken the responsibility of the Pulwama terror attack.
In a Press Statement said, “The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in over 40 Indian Parliamentary forces dead and dozens wounded on february 14,2019, for which Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility.”
