Two Dead and Five Wounded in Shooting Outside Reynold’s Lounge

At least two people were killed and five others wounded in the shooting outside Reynolds Lounge in the early hours on Sunday.

According to the Chicago Police, “the shooting said to be happened at 2a.m when at least one person inside a silver-colored Ford began firing at people gathered in front of the bar at 938 E. 75th St. in Grand Crossing.”

Officials said that the incident started with a disturbance inside the Lounge soon after that people were standing outside the bar and at least one person from the car opened the fire

Four men and three women were affected by the shooter, police said.

According to reports in media people were identified as:

Marvin Powell, 36, who was shot in his neck and chest later died at the University of Chicago Medical Center, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Jeremy Carothers, 39, was shot in the chest and back and died at the hospital,Officials said.

“Another man, 36, was in critical condition at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the back,” police said.

The fourth man, 18, was shot in the shoulder and came himself to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.

Police said “ Other two women were taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition they are a 36-year-old shot in the foot and a 35-year-old grazed in the foot.”

“The third woman, 33, declined medical treatment for a graze wound to the arm,” police said.

Police said no arrests have been made and shooting is still under investigation.
