An announcement from the minister of the UK for immigration, James Brokenshire, said that the new passport that is be issued in the coming month will celebrate creative industry of the Britain and the new design would feature British cultural icons like William Shakespeare, Ada Lovelace, Charles Babbage and Anish Kapoor.

Also the landmark structures such as the Angel of the North and the Titanic Belfast would be depicted on the pages. For every five years, UK would launch a new look passport.

Kapoor (60) has become the most sought after modern artists of the Britain. For his services to visual arts, he was recently honored with knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II in her birthday honors list 2013. In 2009, he became the first Indian origin British artist to take over the Royal Academy. Kapoor, who is a Turner Prize winner, has won the Premio Duemilia at the Venice Biennale two times besides several international honors.

Anish Kapoor designed the Orbit that was funded by Lakshmi Mittal. In 2012, it made a permanent mark on the Olympics in London.

John Constable, the painter

John Harrison, the inventor of the marine timekeeper

Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the architect

Charles Babbage, the inventor

Antony Gormley

Architect Elizabeth Scott

Ada Lovelace

Other pages will feature the London underground and Indian melas.

Brokenshire said "The latest passport is the most secure ever produced in the UK and contains brand new security features to make it more difficult than ever for fraudsters to forge copies. These include advances in the use of security printing using UV and infrared light, inks and watermarks and the use of single sheet of paper for the personal details page through to the page adjoined to the back cover to prevent the passport from being tampered with."
