In a surprise move TMC got Shri Kapil Sibal the Congress person to appear and defend TMC before the Supreme Court in connection with the investigation of CBI in the Saradha chit scam case. The West Bengal cadre of the Congress has raised its objection in Shri Kapil Sibal representing West Bengal government.  The scam has fraudulently cheated Lakhs of people of West Bengal and already many TMC workers and ministers are in jail in connection with this scam. The impartial investigation by CBI has received accolades from one and all except TMC. 

There were rumours that Congress is getting nearer and nearer to TMC to keep its foothold firm in politics. After the drub in the Lok Sabha elections Congress has lost its significance in the Indian politics. Once Ghandhiji has asked to dissolve Congress because the very purpose of getting independence for the country was the aim of the party and that has achieved. He was very confident that if the party continues the leaders may use the party for personal gains. But Nehru was against dissolving the party because he was very much interested in becoming the Prime Minister of the independent India. 

Now that Ghandhji’s dream is going to come true through Shri Modi’s call for Congress Mukt Bharath. At this juncture Congress is trying to take leverage with TMC by helping TMC through Shri Kapil Sibal. But the state unit of the Congress is against it and if Sibal is going to represent West Bengal government on behalf of TMC, there may be an exodus from Congress which may be in favour of BJP. This will pave way for a BJP government in the next election in West Bengal.
