Thad Matta, Ohio State head coach had announced the Buckeyes' 2016-2017 non-conference Men’s basketball schedule with a matchup at Navy in Nov.

In the season 2013-14, when OSU did not play one ranked team until conference play. Coach Thad Matta and the Buckeyes have shared the court with Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia, UCONN, Memphis and Kentucky. Only Virginia was played in Columbus.

On Monday CBS Sports  had reported, Ohio State will rematch Virginia in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge this season and not Louisville

"With the experience we return from our core group from last season, we've put together a non-conference schedule that will challenge our team and put us in a good position for what again is expected to be a very competitive Big Ten Conference schedule,"Thad Matta, Ohio State head coach, said. "November matchups against Providence and Virginia as well as back-to-back games against Connecticut and UCLA in December will test our team as we look to grow heading in to Big Ten play."

2016-2017 Non-Conference Men’s basket ball schedule can be seen below and the game timings will be announced later. Contest which are in bold letters will be played at value city Arena in Columbus.
