Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has bagged LG People's Choice Award by the International Cricket Council.
The Ranchi lad won the award on the basis of an online poll.
In addition, Dhoni's performances in the qualification period - August 7, 2012, to August 25, 2013 - earned him selections to the ICC's prestigious Test and ODI teams of the year.
He made the ODI team for the sixth successive year, and was named captain of the team as well. Dhoni has also made the shortlist for the ODI Cricketer of the Year, and for the biggest prize, the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year.
Four other Indians have made the teams - Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravichandran Ashwin (12th man) in the Test team and Shikhar Dhawan and Ravindra Jadeja in the ODI team.
