Fitting tribute to the great Indian batsman. 

Sachin RameshTendulkar's 199th Test match at the Edens will be a memorable event for cricket lovers all over the world for Kolkata has planned a grand farewel for the Maestro. The match begins on Wednesday but preparations for a memorable farewell has begun in the City of Joy.

Following are the arrangements for the 199th Test Match

On Sunday, a tableau saluting the Master Blaster, was flagged off to travel all over the city till Nov 10, which is the final day of the Test Match.

On Monday, an exhibition was inaugurated at a Maidan tent that comprised of 100 photographs.

On Day 1 of the Test one lakh copies of brochure felicitating Tendulkar will be distributed at the match venue, Eden Gardens.

Masks featuring Sachin Tendulkar will be distributed to spectators in the stands.

After the final day's match rose petals weighing 199 kg will be showered from three light aircrafts on the Eden Gardens.

The entrance to the dressing rooms will feature a larger-than-life wax statue of the Little Master.

200 giant screens have been planned all over the state by the West Bengal government.

Match tickets have photos and sketches of Sachin and have become a collector's item.

During the match Piloo Bhattacharya, a local artist will play a musical tribute at the Eden.

Truly Kolkata has planned a fitting send-off to one of the greatest legends of Cricket.
