Relationship between couples or partners depends on how you nurture it. A strong relationship is not about finding the perfect partner. It's more about dealing the issues faced amicably. Here are few ways to build a strong relationship.

Trust your partner

Trust is the backbone of your relationship. If either of you distrust your partner then your relationship will end with bitterness. Stop suspecting your partner over minor issues. Try and instill security into your partner by letting him know that you feel secure about the relationship. This will help to build trust in your relationship.

Communication

A healthy relationship depends on decent communication between the two partners. You can develop a romantic connection with your partner only through communication. Sharing your desires or ambitions to your partner helps in developing a strong relationship. It's a healthy habit to text your spouse to find out how they are doing. You can also send romantic messages to appreciate him/her.

Honesty

Be honest with your partner for they deserve the truth. This is another important pillar of a strong relationship. When you tell small lies to your spouse, it grows into bigger lies and one day you become an infidel partner.

Spend quality time with each other

Don't ignore your partner due to your busy schedule involving your career, children, household chores and other issues. Your partner deserves your attention. Not giving time to your partner may make him feel lonely and neglected. This may affect your relationship with your partner.

Be forgiving

You should be a forgiving person at times. Your partner may have said something during an argument. You should be able to forgive such follies thinking that he didn't mean it. Be forgiving to your partner unless it's a habitual offense and is intentional.
