The increasing number of divorces and separations between couples has made a successful marriage seem a rarity, needing celebration. But a rocking married life is not impossible. It only requires a bit of adjustment to your life.

In a marriage, you have to bring 'US' in your thoughts and decisions; at the same time don't lose the 'ME' in your relationship. Otherwise, your married life will become a burden. Follow these simple thumb rule for a successful married life.

Companionship

Nodoubt you want the passion and romance of your early days of relationship. But remember nothing stays for ever. Re-establish the connection with your spouse by fondly remembering the bygone days. The passion may not come back, but you will find reasons to spend more 'US' time. Revel in the companionship of your spouse for a rocking marriage.

Individuality

Even though you have been married, it doesn't mean that you need to sacrifice your individuality. If you love a particular sport carry on playing the game. And if you love to wear a particular type of clothes, continue by all means. Only remember that your individuality should not affect the relationship. For example, if you were a casanova prior to your wedding, it won't be accepted after the marriage.

Quarrels

Fights are normal between all couples. Shout or scream at each other to your hearts content. But don't continue with it for days. End the quarrel before the day ends, and begin afresh with the past fight burried down.

Communication

Always keep the channel of communication open with your spouse. Any break in communication can be potentially dangerous for your marriage. There might be times when you don't get much time with each other, but make sure to catch up on each other.
