Beautiful skin needs patience and care. Visiting a skin salon once in a month will not give you glowing skin overnight. Flawless skin means adopting a beauty regimen and following it every day. Here are some simple beauty tips for radiant skin.

Healthy diet

What you eat is the single most important factor for beautiful skin. Your skin reflects what you eat. Adopt a healthy diet full of nutrition. Include whole grains, lean proteins and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits to get a natural glow. Drinking lots of water helps to keeps skin hydrated and also remove toxics from the body.

Sun protection

Protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays as they cause pigmentation and wrinkles. Avoid venturing out in the sun between 10 AM to 4 PM if possible. But if you need to go out during the day then apply a sunscreen at least 20 minutes before going outdoors. Reapply the sunscreen if you sweat a lot.

No smoking

Smoking leads to premate aging as it causes collagen and elastin damage. It causes wrinkles, making you look older than your age. Smoking narrows the blood vessles in the skin's outermost layer. Your face appears dull as there is less flow of blood and oxygen to the skin.

Treat your skin with gentleness

Be gentle on your skin as it's very sensitive. While bathing make sure that you use lukewarm water and not hot water. Always use a mild soap or cleanser on your face and body. Apply moisturiser after cleansing. Make sure to use a good product that suits your skin type.
