Detoxification is the natural process of removing toxics from your body. It involves following a disciplined food habit like the ancient sages of India. Most of us are aware about the benefits of detoxification but fail to follow it as the procedure mentioned by most experts seem difficult.
To detox your body you don't need to spend a bomb at a skin salon. Yoga experts have been practising body detox by eating healthy and right. Here are some simple steps to detox your body at home.
Go seasonal
Start your detox by eating seasonal vegetables and fruits available at the local market to improve your health.
Law of nature
Follow the law of nature while eating fruits and vegetables. Certain fruits and vegetables are supposed to be eaten at certain time of the day and also in specific seasons. Follow this rule which is widely practised in 'ayurveda'.
Organic is healthy
Try to incorporate organic foods into your daily diet. Vegetables and fruits grown organically are free from chemicals and pesticides.
Drink milk
Milk is health for your body. But make sure that the milk you consume is bought from the local milkman. Also drink hot milk and not cold.
Water therapy
Drinking lots of water is the most effective mode of detoxification. Water helps to flush out toxic substances from your body.
One type of food
Make a diet chart for ten days and consume only one type of food at every meal. You can plan a diet of only fruits for breakfast, khichdi for lunch and steamed vegetables for dinner. Continue for ten days without break. Stay away from tea or coffee during this period. By the end of a week you will begin to notice a remarkable difference.
