Sun tan is a common skin problem for women as well as men. Fret not. Now you can remove sun tan at home using ingredients available in the kitchen.
Skin tan is inevitable for people who work outdoor a lot. It helps to apply sun protection before heading out. Wearing a wide rimmed hat is a good idea in case you are out on a holiday. But if you still get sun tan then try these easy home remedies.
1. Apply an anti-tan face pack made of gram flour, turmeric powder, lemon juice and honey. Apply this pack on your face and neck. Let it stay for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water. Use this pack once everyday for a week and the tan will fade.
2. You can also mix gram flour with lemon and curd to make a tan removal pack. It helps to remove tan and gives glowing skin.
3. Juice of a raw potato is also effective in removing tan. Take a cut raw potato and rub the moist side on your tanned face and other affected areas. Potato contains vitamin C and has been known to work in removing skin tan.
4. Oatmeal is another great sun tan remedy. Make a pack using ground oats and buttermilk. Apply this mask and let it stay for 5 minutes. Then gently massage your face before washing it off. This pack has multifunctional use – it removes tan, makes skin soft and also exfoliates.
5. Ripe papaya also helps to remove sun tan. Rub some mashes ripe papaya on your face. Keep it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with water for soft skin that glows.
