Summers invariably causes itchy, sticky, smelly feet, thanks to the high levels of humidity that causes fungus and bacteria to grow on the skin, causing redness, rashes and reeking odor. Hence, it is imperative to pedicure once in every three weeks to keep your feet smelling and feeling good all through. Don't have enough time for a pedicure in a parlor. Well, we tell you how to get the best summer pedicure at home. Read on.

For rose petal foot soak, you will need:

  • Rose petals
  • Rose flavored salts
  • A scrub
  • Rose geranium essential oil
  • A peel
  • Rose cream

Instructions:

  • Fill a tub with water, add rose petals, four tablespoons of rose salts and three drops of rose oil to this. Douse your feet into it for five minutes.
  • Gently lip away the nails and file off the grime. Cut the cuticles too.
  • To exfoliate, take some rose scrub and gently massage to slough off the dead skin.
  • Now make a mask using a tablespoon of any fruit-based peel with a tablespoon of rose oil and warm water. Cover your feet.
  • Wrap your feet in a warm towel for five to six minutes and then rinse off with warm water.
  • Pat dry and massage the feet with the rose cream.
  • Apply polish.
